1st Annual CNS Nanotechnology Symposium

Nanomagnetics - From Discovery to Systems

Ithaca, May 14, 2004

A one-day symposium organized by the Center for Nanoscale Systems, focused on scientific challenges and engineering opportunities in magnetic storage and memory technologies. We have invited a number of exciting speakers from industry and academia who will share their experience and vision in this rapidly developing field.

Attendance at the symposium is open to all those interested in research and applications of nano-technology. Admission is free of charge. Attendees are invited to submit posters for display during the lunchtime poster session.

The poster session will include a complete overview of the latest progress in all CNS research thrusts on nanomagnetics, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics and nano-characterization. CNS faculty, students and post-docs involved in the research projects will be available for discussion.

The CNS Annual Nanotechnology Symposium will be organized in Clark Hall (Room 700 and 701), East Avenue on the Cornell Campus in Ithaca, NY.
